The National Model Railroad Association is separated into 19 regions. The Prairie Lakes Division is affiliated with the Thousand Lakes Region which covers most of the Midwest and part of Canada.
Events
The prairie lakes division typically holds two model railroad events throughout the year. One in the Spring and one in the Fall. The events typically include vendors selling railroad and model railroad related merchandise and several operating model railroads.
